It's amazing what a little subtle editing can do for an average photo.
A few gentle tweaks can turn an okay image into a shot you could print and hang on your wall.
The shot below was taken on a dull autumn day in a beech woodland.
Some simple adjustments...
Turning up the Contrast helped deepen the shadows and boost the highlights,
Changing the White Balance helped emphasise the gold in the leaves, and
Increasing the Saturation added some punch to the colours.
The result is a much more autumnal photo!
