As light levels fall, your camera might need some assistance to take sharp photos.
Things you should have to help get the best low-light images:
A tripod and/or mount. Suitable examples can be found on-line (sites like eBay.co.uk, etc.).
A dedicated long-exposure camera app. Search for "long exposure" and "slow shutter" in the App Store.
Also, you'll find that slow shutter speeds open up a whole world of new photo opportunities like motion blur and light trails.
Remember: Photos cost nothing so get lots of practice!
